Why is it so much
cheaper than a Police 6510?
Most importantly, the police have to be able to calibrate
their units weekly "in house" at the Police Station and need this
capability built-in to the units. Personal users are unlikely to need a
service more than once a year and so instead will return their
units to us for maintenance in our workshops. We have also removed a
number of software features that are of little use to personal users,
such as data memory, variable units, altitude compensation etc.
Accuracy, Reliability and Consistency are completely unaffected by these
changes.
